The Rich Cronin Hope Foundatino is proud to sponsor its 2006 MARROW FOR LIFE DRIVE. Through this financial and practical drive, the RCHF is seeking to facilitate the addition of 500 names to the National Marrow Donor Program registry. Achieving this goal means offering even greater hope to Leukemia patients in need of a life saving bone marrow transplant.
Did you know..... There will be 25,000 newly reported cases of Leukemia in the United States this year alone.
# A patient's immediate family members don't always match and outside sources are needed.
# There are not enough individuals on the registry to get everyone a match. In fact, minority communities find great difficulty matching patients and donors.
# YOU COULD BE THE ONE TO SAVE A LIFE.
So, we are asking you to join this GOOD FIGHT and help us recruit and sponsor 500 individuals to join the registry. This challenge will require networking of our supporters, reaching out to our families, friends and colleagues and helping to raise funds to cover the cost of the required DNA testing. Our goal is to raise $35,000.00 - all of which will go towards matching those in need of bone marrow donor matches with those who will join the registry to save a life. My personal goal is to raise $5,000. Thank you so much!
