A team of Rally Athletes will be participating in the Lake Lanier Islands Sprint Triathalon on Sunday, October 4, 2009. All the money raised will go towards funding childhood cancer research to find better treatments and fewer long-term side effects and cures for childhood cancers.
In our first three years, Rally Foundation has provided more than $1 million in childhood cancer research grants, 2nd year research awards for young investigators, research nurses and fellowships supporting 39 projects in 22 hospitals nationwide. For every dollar Rally receives, 93 cents goes to support Rally’s mission according to our audited financials. Rally Foundation is recognized with the Independent Charities Seal of Excellence. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.
There are a couple teams that have formed in memory of a Rally Kid. If you want to join one of those teams please click on their links below. If you would like to start your own team in honor/memory of a Rally Kid, please CLICK HERE.

Every day two classrooms of students, about 46 children, are diagnosed with cancer and most will spend the next three years in treatment. Pediatric cancer is different than adult cancer and is the number one disease killer of kids’ ages 0-20. Rally Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is dedicated to raising funds to support childhood cancer research which is under-funded up to $30 million a year. Please join me with your donation and be a Champion for Childhood Cancer Research! |
