| We are Genesis and Corban Inclan. We are brother and sister and live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We have Neurofibromatosis.
Neurofibromatosis (commonly called NF) is a genetic disorder in which the nerve tissue grows tumors. These tumors are called neurofibromas. These tumors can be large, small one on top of the other, harmless or may cause serious damage. They may be painful or not. The tumors may cause bumps under the skin, on top of the skin and can grow ANYWHERE in the body. Most everyone with NF has light brown colored spots called Café au lait (French for Coffee with milk) spots because of their hue, which looks like coffee and cream. NF can cause mild to severe skeletal problems, pressure on spinal nerve roots and many other neurological problems.
Not very many people have heard of Neurofibromatosis, but 1 –in 2,500 people have it. You can be born with it or someday suddenly develop it, (Called spontaneous mutation). NF is more prevalent than cystic fibrosis, inherited muscular dystrophy and Huntington's disease combined.
We are raising support for research to find a cure for this disorder.
The Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) is the leading non-government funder of research into NF. The Foundation funds both clinical and non-clinical research to enable effective treatments and, ultimately, find a cure for NF
Racing4Research is a unique fundraising initiative. With more than just winning in mind, the Children's Tumor Foundation Porsche GT3 team will race to help raise awareness and find a cure for neurofibromatosis (NF).
Can you please help us raise support? |
