| Two-year-old Cameron Arnette was recently diagnosed with a genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis (NF). NF causes tumors to grow anywhere on or in the body. The tumors grow along various types of nerves and, in addition, can affect the development of bones and skin.
Cameron has a large tumor in his throat, growing along his carotid artery and another tumor in his brain, behind his optic nerves. Both tumors are inoperable.
Currently, there is no cure for this disease and medical research is the only way to learn more about the disease and find the most effective treatments.
