| On Sunday, Oct 3, 2010, I will be running in the Governer's Island 10k.
I am running in support of the incredible students who currently live at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda. A unique project, the village is a comprehensive living, learning and healing community that seeks to “restore the rhythm of life” for orphans and other vulnerable children. By providing loving support, physical and mental health care and a top quality education, the village aims to enable the kids to maximize their potential and live healthy and productive lives, while instilling in them the importance of contributing to their society and the world.
Please help me offer hope to these amazing kids! |

| Race4Rwanda supports the children of the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village (ASYV), a home, community and high school for orphans and other traumatized youth in Rwanda.
The ASYV seeks to “restore the rhythm of life” for these young people by providing them with care and education, preparing them to take on leadership roles in their society, and enabling them to mend the world around them.
The ASYV is a special project of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, a registered 501(C)3 nonprofit. All contributions are tax deductible. Learn more: www.asyv.org |
