The Race for Research is an event spearheaded by the Heroes of Hope Grey Ribbon Crusade campaign. (Please visit www.greyribboncrusade.org) The call to action has united over 250 individuals and 57 not for profits all committed to fighting daily in the name of a cure!

Brain tumors do not discriminate. Anyone is at risk of getting a brain tumor. Currently, brain tumors are the leading cause of solid tumor death in children and the second leading cause of cancer death in men under the age of 39.

Brain Tumors are on the rise and 20% of all cancers will spread to the brain . Tumors in the brain pose extreme challenge and can cause major deficits in the areas of sight, hearing, fine and gross motor skills, personality, speech and more.

Donations fuel research, research fuels a CURE! Your participation will help fund national programs and both pediatric and adult research especially the visionary work at top Southern California brain tumor centers including Dr. Linda Liau's team at UCLA and Dr. Finlay. Dr. Finlay is the director of the Neural Tumors Program at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, and professor of pediatrics, neurology and neurosurgery at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California!
