| The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Raises Funds for Research |

| The Mission of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation is to find a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. The Foundation works to improve the quality of life of those suffering from this terminal illness through patient advocacy, education of patients, their families and their friends. We publish booklets and other educational materials to inform both the patient community and physicians about this little known disease. In addition we offer emotional solace by providing support groups. We have been successful in convincing the National Institutes of Health to increase spending on research on Pulmonary Fibrosis. As a result of our efforts the NIH is spending $15,000,000 to establish a national network for clinical research on Pulmonary Fibrosis. The Foundation provides grants to Universities and other Research Centers which will soon find a cure. Since our inception in 2000 we have invested $1,810,000 to fund research to find a cure. Your contributions pay for research that can save lives by hastening the day that a cure or effective treatment becomes available. We have recently established the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Center of Excellence in partnership with the University of Chicago. The Foundation will be investing $1,000,000 over the next three years to find a cure. Don’t take breathing for granted. We are dependent on your help to succeed.
