The Paralysis Project of America was founded in 1987 by a group of concerned parents and friends who had a loved one who was paralyzed. The Paralysis Project funds novel lines of Scientific Research to assist those suffering from Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis. Scientific Grants are awarded to researchers based on the funds made available from the Paralysis Project's fund raising activities. The mission of Paralysis Project is to accelerate progress toward finding a cure for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury (SCI) and/or disease.
PRIZES
-Participants raising more the $500 will receive a 2 GB Ipod Shuffle.
-Participants raising more than $1,500 will also receive two tickets to the 2009 Sports Legends Awards Dinner. |
