The Springdale Chicks will unite with other area softball teams in an annual tournament to raise team funds and support the Ozark Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  The three day softball tournament will take place June 22-24, 2007.   In addition, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and the city of Springdale will help make this tournament a success.

The purpose of this tournament is to promote breast health in our community to women of all ages as well as celebrate the survivorship of those who have battled this disease.  Twenty percent (20%) of all tournament profits will benefit the Komen Ozark Affiliate. Each team that participates in the tournament is challenged to collect and bring a team donation that will be given directly to the local Komen Affiliate.

Please support our organizations efforts and the efforts of our teams.  Online donations can be accepted through each softball team’s fundraising page by finding their link above.  Donations can also be made to a general fund that will go directly to the Ozark Affiliate.  (These donations are 100% tax-deductible as dictated by law.) 

On the last day of the tournament these donations will be presented to the Komen Ozark Affiliate.  Awards will be given in each age bracket plus an overall award for the most substantial team donation.
