| WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES!
Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women. For us, 2005 saw that number become much more than a statistic. But breast cancer is no longer the automatic sentence it once was. Because of research supported by organizations like The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Vicki is back to full strength and to her active and full life.
Thanks to all the family and friends who have done so much for us, and to the doctors, health care professionals, and research scientists who made her recovery possible.
Finally, thanks to all of those who will join us again this year in supporting the Komen Race for a Cure. It is your concern and contributions that continue to bring hope to millions of women a year. |
