| Welcome to the 2010 Miles for Myeloma 5k Walk/Run! The Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group, Central and Northern New Jersey Support Groups along with over 500 particpants and sponsors, were pleased to have donated over $92,000 to myeloma research in 2009!
We are hoping to surpass that number at this year's event!
We are also honored to have International Myeloma Foundation's research initiatives and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Multiple Myeloma Financial Assistance Program as the beneficiaries of this year's event. Both of these organizations are truly committed to the patients and caregivers within the myeloma community. With the estimate that over 20,500 new cases of multiple myeloma would be diagnosed within the United States in 2009, it is more important than ever to work together to reduce this number to zero!
