| I have often heard the statement ... "How can we help people right here in our own backyard?"
Within one hour driving distance (Canyon Creek Complex) one can see that smile, hope, and dream come true. Last year that experience helped over 800 inner city children and we are hoping to expand the program to a larger number this year.
It's very rare to be able to donate and see your generosity at work.
The Harold Robinson Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of inner city and underprivileged children by providing them the means, free of costs, to attend a safe, nuturing and non-competitive camp environment where they will experience nature and participate in diverse recreational programs designed to strengthen confidence and independence, build character and develop leadership skills.
It is the vision of the Harold Robinson Foundation to provide a level playing field for our community's under-served children.
On June 5th, I will be participating in the 100 mile spin-a-thon on the Santa Monica pier and I'm hoping that you will help support me in my fundraising efforts.
Please join us at the pier for a great day ... top of the line Keiser Bikes and Kinetic Cycling's, John Scarangello along with other popular instructors from different studios in Los Angeles will spin us to our goal ! Great bands, DJ's, celebrity guests, food, vendors.
In closing, give a little, give a lot, or give till it hurts .. if you know the shape I'm in now and what it will take for me to finish 100 miles ... just sayin !! |
