| Thank you for visiting our Parkinsons Disease fundraising page. We are walking the Des Moines Half Marathon to support the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) in the goal to "Ease the Burden and Find a Cure". Our cousin, LaDona, was diagnosed with an Essential Tremor at age 30, and two years later with Parkinsons. The medication she takes helps tremendously, which allows her to function close to normal most days. However, there are people with PD who are not so lucky. With your help, we can support PD research and assist people living with Parkinsons, their caregivers & families. Please support us in our efforts to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease and help find a cure! |
