| Marathoning For Parkinson's Disease |

Hi,
My name is James and I am endeavoring to raise money to cure Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson's is a debilitating neurological disease which inhibits muscular control, affects over 1 million Americans, and has no known cure.
The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (www.pdf.org) is a national organization which funds disease research, patient education and support services and acts as an advocacy for increased federal funding.
Additionally, I believe that research into Parkinson’s disease will lead to a better general understanding of neurophysiology and function and this may in turn lead to breakthroughs in other neurological disorders.
To support the PDF, I would like to raise $250,000. To accomplish this, I will be running two to three marathons a year until I have run at least one in every state. Prior to each new marathon I will attempt to collect at least $5000 in donations, so if you can, please help out.
To kick off this endeavor, I will be running in the 2007 Chicago Marathon. To make a secure, on-line donation see below.
