| The Pine Bush Astros are a 13U competitive travel baseball team comprised of players from the Pine Bush school district and surrounding areas. The Astros will participate in a spring/summer travel league primarily in the Greater Hudson Valley area of NY and various out of state tournaments in 2005.
Our goal is to provide our players and community with a positive, instructional outlet for competitive baseball, while maintaining a "kids first", Fun approach to the game. Our program is geared to help players from all social and economic levels take the next step in competitive play. But, While we have kept our registration fees low, we are seeing the need for additional funds to complete our goals for the 2005 season.
The team has been recently created to give top caliber players a chance to compete against similar teams in neighboring communities, filling a geographic void in Orange, Ulster, and Sullivan Counties. The team is based out of Pine Bush, NY. Each of the boys on the current roster have been active in youth league baseball for many years and with hard work, dedication, and positve mental attitudes have proven themselves to be the top players from their individual leagues and towns. The families that comprise the Astros roster consider themselves to be grounded, hard working, folks looking to do the best they can for their family. Any person generous enough to assist us will be secure in the knowledge that their donation will be appreciated and has gone to a program that they will be proud to be associated with. All funds generated will be used to obtain needed equipment, team apparel, and/or for tournament fees. Thank you for becoming affiliated with the Pine Bush Astros. |
