Hi everyone,
In one month, I'll be running the CHOP Parkway Run for pediatric cancer research.
When I completed the Parkway Walk in 2004, I vowed I was going to run the 5k...eventually. Cut to four years later, and I have FINALLY worked up the nerve to do it.
Running has never been my strongest talent, and maybe that's why it took so long for me to take the chance...and also why I never stopped making completing the 5k a goal. While I might not make the best time, crossing the finish line will be a big deal for me. And if I can help a great cause while I'm at it, all the better!
So please feel free to help make this a bigger vistory by dontating even a dollar for these kids!
I know I quote World/Inferno lyrics all too often, but this one seems to fit my determination just to cross the finish line: "Fate loves the fearless. Don't crap out."
