Pancreatic Cancer is the most aggressive of all the major cancers – time from diagnosis to survival is often measured in weeks. Pancreatic cancer is a huge, largely invisible problem – it causes more than 1% of all death in the U.S. and pancreatic cancer is the least funded of the major cancers. You can help by raising funds and raising awareness.

To make a donation, please select the amount you'd like to donate in the "Make a Contribution" screen located at the bottom of this page, and proceed by clicking on "Continue." If you would like to make a donation on behalf of a Houston runner, select the fundraiser under “View Fundraising Pages” at the top of this page.
If you are one of the Running Team participants and would like to set up your personalized Fundraising Page, please follow the steps below:
1. Select the "Become a Fundraiser" tab at the top of this page
2. Create a user name and password on Active.com
3. Follow the prompts to set up your own personalized fundraising web page.

The Chevron Houston Half Marathon on Sunday, January 18, 2009 is a fast, beautiful course. Well received by runners and more than 200,000 annual spectators, this is an amazingly fun race.

The Lorenzen Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to raise awareness, increase education and contribute to further cancer research.
