Have Fun and Do Good! Join the Pancreatica Pacesetters Running Team whether you're running your first race or want to add a half marathon to your schedule. The Baltimore Running Festival Half Marathon is the inaugural team on the East Coast for the Pancreatica Pacesetters.
Team members are eligible* for a 12-week training schedule, weekly runs with the team and the coach, e-coaching, access to the online discussion board, event entry fee, a travel voucher for up to $400, a Pancreatica Pacesetters running top, Active.com amenities including a website, AND suggestions and support. The Pancreatica Pacesetters Running Team is aimed at supporting dedicated individuals who are running to fight pancreatic cancer.
Together We Can Make a Difference
Pancreatic Cancer is the most aggressive of all the major cancers – time from diagnosis to survival is often measured in weeks. Pancreatic cancer is a huge, largely invisible problem – it causes more than 1% of all death in the U.S. Pancreatic cancer is the least funded of the major cancers. You can help by raising funds and raising awareness.
Fundraising and Donations
To make a donation, please select the amount you'd like to donate in the "Make a Contribution" screen located at the bottom of this page, and proceed by clicking on "Continue". If you would like to make a donation on behalf of a “Baltimore” runner, select the fundraiser under “View Fundraising Pages” at the top of this page.
If you are one of the Running Team participants and would like to set up your personalized Fundraising Page, please follow the steps below:
1. Select the "Become a Fundraiser" tab at the top of this page
2. Create a user name and password on Active.com
3. Follow the prompts to set up your own personalized fundraising web page.
