| As participants in the 2012 Yogathon we are raising money for Off The Mat, Into the World (OTM), an organization dedicated to changing lives around the world. In the past, OTM has created change in Haiti, Cambodia, Uganda and South Africa, advocating for human rights. This year, all funds donated to OTM will be used to end sex slavery and human trafficking in India. Funds will also be used to research and find ways to end sex slavery in the United States as it is occurring amongst teenagers. Given that India is the birthplace of yoga, and the US is our home, it seems only fitting that we give back, empowering today's modern goddesses.
The Yogathon is the "marathon of yoga", consisting of 12 hours of asana classes. Our team will divide the classes amongst the four of us, each completing a minimum of 3 hours of yoga. We are grateful to you for stopping by our page. Please know that your support is greatly appreciated, not only by our team but by the entire OTM organization, and more importantly, the lives of those you will help to change.
