Hi Everyone –
Thanks for visiting my ING Run for Something Better fundraising page. This fall, I've partnered with ING to help spread a positive message about youth running and fitness. It’s something I’m really excited about!
The ING Run for Something Better is a fantastic initiative tied to ING's marathon sponsorships. The campaign provides funding for youth running programs across the country and encourages kids to get a healthier start to life through fitness. We all know that childhood obesity is a leading health concern in the U.S. today. That’s why I’m happy to see a company like ING making a difference.
Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I learned the value of maintaining a healthy lifestyle early on. This included training, exercising and proper nutrition. Today, these things are still very important to me, especially as I pursue my current passion – running.
Speaking of running -- I'll be doing my part by running the ING New York City Marathon on November 2 this year and raising money for the ING Run for Something Better. You can help, too, by making a donation below to support me run. All the money I raise will go directly to the campaign. Additionally, each person who contributes $10 or more to the ING Run for Something Better can get a pair of orange shoelaces to show they support kid’s fitness -- just like the ones I'll be wearing on race day.
Learn more about the program by checking out the website or watching the video below. Thanks again for your help. I hope to see you at the finish line!
