Hi Everyone – Great news...you made it to my ING Run for Something Better fundraising page!
I’m really excited to be partnering with ING on this great campaign. First of all – I’ll be running the ING New York City Marathon on November 2 this year (yes – I’m putting away my soccer cleats to trek 26.2 miles!).
But even better – I’m doing it for a really great cause. I’ll be raising money from now until race day to help out the ING Run for Something Better campaign. This is a fantastic program that provides money for free school and community running programs across the country. The idea is to get young kids excited about exercise, fitness and leading healthy lifestyles.
As a soccer player, I learned early on about the benefits of running and physical fitness. Now I want to help ING spread this positive message.
You can help, too, by making a donation below to support me in the race. All the money I raise will go directly to the ING Run for Something Better initiative. Additionally, each person who donates $10 or more can get a pair of orange shoelaces just like the ones I’ll be wearing on marathon day.
To learn more about the program, check out the website or watch the video below. There’s a lot of interesting information about what ING has accomplished, and they can do even more with your support. Thanks again for visiting. Now, I’ve gotta run – I need to get back to my training!
