| ON A ROLL is a unique blended Walk/Wheel/Run-a-thon to raise funds to support National Spinal Cord Injury Association (NSCIA) in its mission of empowering people with spinal cord injury and disorders to achieve the highest quality of life possible. The event will include opportunities for participants of any physical level of ability — however you roll!
ON A ROLL celebrates the 30th anniversary of a similar event that helped James Bryant Neville, Jr. begin his new life as a C3,C4,C5 quadriplegic. It was the unending love of his family and tremendous support of his community that gave him both the courage and determination to face his new way of life and its many challenges with a positive outlook. Today, he has a successful career, a loving wife and three sons. With his greatest dreams now realities, Mr. Neville desires to give back to the community in ways such as the upcoming publication of his new book, "On a Roll” and by helping to raise awareness of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association’s (NSCIA) mission of enabling people with spinal cord injury and disorders (SCI/D) to achieve their highest level of independence, health, and personal fulfillment. This reunion event (September 17, 2011 at Dinwiddie County Junior High School Track and Cross Country Course. Dinwiddie, VA) creates an opportunity to raise funds to support that mission.
