| Fund Raising AGAIN?
Fund Raising is a very important part of the Rockets survival. First of all thanks to all the parents grandparents and sponsors for all your support. Recently I spoke with a National representative with the American Softball Association about fund raising events. It is always a challenge to raise enough funds to pay for the tournaments, equipment and uniforms each year. Did you know... Nationally it is estimated that the average parent will spend a between $3000.00 to $5000. per year to support a child on a competitive softball team which travels for just tournament tickets, food and lodging. The average competitive team will spend and estimated $3800 in tournament fees. Plus 2 sets of uniforms cost an average of $2000. The list can on and on from there when you include the bats, balls gloves and other equipment it takes each year to prepare a competitive team. Somehow it all comes together. It's all because of your generous donations and support. If you haven't had a chance to give to your favorite team or have a friend, relative, rocket parent or your a rocket grandparent and would like to help... We all appreciate it! Thank you very much.
