Angela's First Attempt at a Marathon!
Life is short so why not run a marathon?
I have completed 2 half marathons and after the last I decided to continue training on for the Portland Marathon. Crazy I guess, but I get a huge rush from accomplishing challenges. Soon I realized just how much effort, time, sweat and dedication it takes, but I am still on track and ready to complete this crazy race! I work for Providence Hospice and Palliative Care and couldn't think of a more deserving cause to run for. By giving a small amount it will go to help benefit individuals at their end of life, and give me that extra push to get to the finish line! Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me and supported my efforts. -Angela
