| In 2009, The Chicago Diabetes Project (CDP) formed "Cellmates on the Run", a running group that brings individuals together to achieve a common goal. The CDP's mission is to cure diabetes through islet cell transplants. Our runners will take on one of the world's most prestigious marathons, the ING New York City Marathon, on Sunday, November 7th will raise money to cure this growing epidemic.
