One of the most incredible and meaningful opportunities has recently been presented to me and I’m asking for your support to help make a difference in the lives of children and adults with Leukemia and other blood cancers. I am honored to be nominated as a candidate for Nashville’s Man Of The Year 2008, benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
As a candidate, I will be raising funds in honor of Jamie Grace Dubois, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). Jamie Grace is a wonderful 13 year old who is such an inspiration to me. Also, Ben Bjork, 18, who was diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in 1998. Ben loves music and is a great piano player!
Knowing that at least .75 of every $1 goes directly to patient aid, research and education, please make a tax-deductible contribution to LLS to help me help others by May 15th if you can. However, I will be able to accept contributions until May 30th.
Some of you may not know that I lost my mother, Joyce, to Leukemia while I was in my Junior year of college at MTSU. It was a devastating blow to experience what this disease can do to a completely healthy person. I want to dedicate my campaign to her, Jamie Grace, and Ben Bjork.
Thank-you from the bottom of my heart for any contribution you can make! |
