In 1999, the All Stars Project of New Jersey brought to Newark a breakthrough approach to youth and human development. The approach makes use of some of the most advanced ideas in psychology, performance and philosophy, and was created over the last 30 years to respond to the most pressing needs of poor, urban youth…The All Stars Project of New Jersey’s focus is on growth.

Under the direction of Gloria B. Strickland, the All Stars has involved more than 10,000 youth in the Newark area in neighborhood talent shows, leadership training workshops, summer corporate internships and theater productions -- which have expanded their capacity to make life choices, large and small, to help them grow.

Please join us on November 9, 2009 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and make a generous contribution so that the All Stars Project of New Jersey – and the young people of Newark – will continue to grow.
