Maria--my reason for running!

Hi Friends and Family -

I am running on behalf of Maria Guehlstorf and the Children's Tumor Foundation to help find a cure for Neurofibromatosis.

Maria is the 6 year old daughter of Kristin and Nic Guehlstorf, family friends for many, many years. She was diagnosed with NF when she was around a year old.

NF is a complex disorder that can affect almost every organ system, causing a predisposition for benign and/or malignant tumors to develop on nerves in the brain and throughout the body. Currently, there is no cure, only treatment for symptoms.

Any donation would be welcomed and appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible and will be gratefully acknowledged by the Children's Tumor Foundation.
