Hello! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

With my trainer and her husband, I will be running in the 40th anniversary Portland marathon (just weeks after I turn 40!!!!). We are running to motivate, inspire, encourage hope, and to fund support programs and medical research which will make a positive impact on the lives of many patients and families throughout the world.

In particular, I have 3 dear friends like me afflicted with NF2 - Neurofibromatosis Type 2, who are dependent on a cancer drug funded by this foundation. It offers their last shot at surviving these resilient brain and spinal tumors to achieve a quality life.

Will you please kindly make a donation to help improve the health of those who have been less fortunate?

Neurofibromatosis causes tumors to grow uncontrollably throughout the body affecting a variety of essential life functions, causing disfigurement, and inflicting pain. Sadly many young lives have been lost but we are working to make a positive change toward a happier outcome. Patients and families of NF greatly depend on the support of the community for awareness and improving medical treatments.

It is with deep appreciation that I honor you for your loyalty, prayers, and encouragement throughout the years. Know that these little acts of kindness have done wonders for motivating me and have kept me alive! THANK YOU!
