Carly - Summer 2011

This is Year #6 for Carly’s Crew and we are happy to report that this past year has been the best of Carly’s young life. After many up and downs for the past few years, Carly had a chemo-free year and is finally, for the most part, living the typical life of a six year old. However, the worries and struggles of NF are still with us on a daily basis and Carly still faces an uncertain future. Fundraising is what gives us hope…fundraising on behalf of the NF Endurance Team and Children's Tumor Foundation, to continue making progress in the fight to cure NF! Once again we are lucky enough to have our friend Rich Oldham running the Rock ‘n Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon on September 18th, as the rest of our crew stands on the sidelines, in our bright yellow shirts, cheering him on! We need your donations and continued support so that our fundraising efforts will once again prove to be a great success. This fundraising experience has been rewarding on so many levels. We have been humbled by the generosity of family and friends and truly amazed by the kindness of strangers. No donation is too small...every dollar helps.
