The death of a loved one can feel life-shattering. And the path through grief is often a long and difficult journey. Instead of taking this path alone New Hope offers support and help for grieving people through grief support groups and Family Camps. For the last ten years New Hope has offered support groups in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas for adults, teens, and children. In these groups, participants are guided through their grief experience in an understanding and safe environment. This year New Hope has opened up its reach to families all over Southern California through offering Family Camps. These camps occur in Idyllwild twice a year for the entire family to recieve support together after the loss of a loved one.

Our hope at this years Long Beach Marathon is to raise $20,000. The funds will be used to continue to expand our grief programs and Family Camps for 2011-2012.
