| Campers 4 Campers is a program that lets kids and their families fundraiser for camp. If a camper raisers $1000.00 they get to attend one Nevada Diabetes Association camp for free. If a camper raises over $1500.00 they get to attend two Nevada Diabetes Associations camps for free. This fundraiser also allows campers to raise funds for their fellow diabetic camp friends that need that extra financial help. The Nevada Diabetes Association has a camp programs for every age child and their family.
The Nevada Diabetes Association (NDA) is committed to improving the lives of children and adults affected by diabetes through prevention, education and service. Our greatest joy is providing camps each year for children with diabetes. Our greatest success is seeing these children develop the skills to take charge of their diabetes.
A week at camp may not seem like much, but the self-management skills taught by a professional staff of doctors, nurses, dietitians, medical students, and youth counselors gives children the opportunity to learn how to be independent and increase their self esteem and confidence in themselves.
Many children don't know anyone in the whole world with diabetes. Many are scared about what's going to happen to them in the future and are afraid to try new things. Camp is an opportunity for these kids to be with other kids just like themselves who are dealing with diabetes. To be in a group where everyone around them understands what they are going through and what to do about it. It gives them the opportunity to share their fears and experiences with other kids.
If the NDA reaches their goal of $100,000.00 then every NDA camper would be able to attend camp for free!

There are 2 Easy Ways to donate online.
1. Sponsor one of the campers participating in the "Campers 4 Campers" Program.

Find the text box at the top of the page and either type in the camper's name you wish to support, or click on the ‘Search’ button to view all of the fundraising pages. Once you've done this select the fundraiser and make a donation to their page.
2. Make a general contribution
- To make a general donation to the Nevada Diabetes Association click on the amount you would like to donate in the box below titled ‘Make a Contribution’ or enter the amount you would like to donate and click ‘continue’ to proceed.
