I have been nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year campaign. I am very excited about this honor and truly feel this is my opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and blood cancers throughout our community.
As many of you already know, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has been a focus of my family’s efforts over the past 8 years. In 2000, I lost my father to Leukemia after a 2 year battle. To say the least, it was a life altering experience. Ever since then, our family has made it our mission to raise as much money as possible to help fund researchers who are making advancements in the field.
Each dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most donations is named our local Man or Woman of the Year. Remember 75 cents of every dollar goes straight to Leukemia research so please be generous! Your donation is tax deductible and will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society programs, including research, patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.
Thank you in advance for all of your support!
