You may have heard that I have been given the opportunity to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in their annual Man & Woman of the Year campaign.

That’s what happens, you move to DC and suddenly you need to hire a campaign manager! Well – this campaign won’t be on CNN, but it’s definitely newsworthy!

• LLS has invested more than $550 Million in research to find a cure

• Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer in children under 20

• LLS funds over 450 researchers across the globe

I am committed to raising $50,000 in memory of Tommy Rodriguez, who passed away from Leukemia in November 2007. I am asking for your help to make a difference in the lives of people who have been touched by this disease.
