| Each year The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society launches its Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign, and I have the honor of being nominated as a Man of the Year candidate!
Let me tell you why this is so important to me. In March of 2004, I lost my mother to Leukemia. I witnessed first hand the debilitating effects that leukemia can have on those who suffer from these blood diseases and on the friends and family who care for their loved ones. My mother meant the world to me and is responsible for making me the man that I am today. I attribute all of my success as a man, a lawyer, a scholar, and a person to her dedication and sacrifice. I will never be able to repay her for these wonderful gifts, but it is my sincere endeavor to honor her name and memory by raising funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. To that end, I need your help!
