| Neuroblastoma is a common but overlooked cancer in kids. The statistics associated with the disease are shocking. Only 55% of children diagnosed with high-risk disease survive. When survivors relapse, there is no known cure. As part of a continuing effort to fund a cure and
support families affected by this disease, a group of parents and supporters of children with Neuroblastoma cancer are sponsoring the NB Hope 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, August 28, 2010.
The money we raise from the Fun Run/Walk will go to The Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation, a 501(c) 3 public charity, to fund research and to provide ongoing
parent education about this cruel disease. CNCF’s mission is to raise funds and awareness of this childhood cancer. We support research into new cures and treatments, to encourage and educate others and to expedite the process of finding new cures and bringing them to children
with Neuroblastoma cancer now. |
