Nathan was born on a hot July 18, 2002 in Plano, Texas. We have been blessed by his wonderful spirit and love for life ever since. He brightens every room he walks in with his enthusiasm for life, love for laughter and infectious smile. He means the world to us, and every day we feel so fortunate that he is in our lives.
As many of you know, Nathan has been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
We were devastated to learn that there was no cure and that Duchenne research was severely underfunded. We believe that a cure will be found for Duchenne in time for Nathan and the thousands of other boys that have this deadly disorder.
We are supporters of CureDuchenne because they aggressively find and fund promising Duchenne specific research with a sense of urgency. CureDuchenne was founded by parents of a Duchenne boy and have a goal to be out of business within the next 10 years because a cure has been found. We want to help them get there.
