| Helping Hannah |
|
I recently decided to take on a new challenge and I NEED your help! I joined TEAM CHALLENGE, a fundraising program for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) and I have committed to run a half marathon (that’s 13.1 Miles!) to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for these terrible diseases.
I will be training for this race in honor of Hannah a 12 year old girl with ulcerative colitis, Hannah has spent more time in the hospital since December than she has in class. She used to be on a soccer team, but now spends her time getting various medical tests and treatments. No child should have to suffer.
Join me as I fight back against Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Don’t worry, I’ll do all the training…all you need to do is support me in this effort by making a tax deductible donation to the CCFA. The funds raised through Team Challenge directly benefit CCFA to support its mission to find a cure and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
My goal is to raise $4000 and I can’t do it alone! Donations are tax deductible and any amount is appreciated. Because Hannah shouldn’t have to wait for a cure, please help me reach my goal as soon as possible. If there is someone special in your life that suffers from one of these diseases, please let me know their name, and I will place a ribbon with their name on my jersey and run in their honor as well.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the soles of my feet! |
