Kathy Abbe's Threepeat
Know Pain, Know Gain
That's me in front. Pretend no one is ahead of me. LOL
Third time is a charm! Last year in Napa I painted 2008 and 2009 on each shoulder of my Team Challenge jersey, leaving room in the middle for 2010, in case I was crazy enough to try this again. With your help, I will cross that finish line for the third time for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, and in honor of my niece, Krista.

Research is expensive and it is necessary. IBD sufferers need better treatments now! Krista has been fairly symptom free the last four years, but is allowed to stay on her current treatment for just one more year.
Crohn's and ulcerative colitis are painful, medically incurable illnesses that attack the digestive system. More than 1.4 million Americans are diagnosed, however many more suffer in silence. CCFA is the largest organization dedicated to curing IBD and has funded more than 1,100 grants for Crohn's and colitis research. The foundation invests wisely, funding the highest-quality IBD research anywhere in the world. More than 80 cents of every dollar donated goes to mission critical programs! The American Institute of Philanthropy has given the CCFA one of the only 6 "A" ratings in its most recent watchdog report.

My third year goal is to raise $3,000 in three months and cross the finish line in 3 hours. Your generosity is very much appreciated, not only by me and my family, but all IBD sufferers.

If you prefer to send a check, please mail your tax deductible donation, payable to CCFA, directly to me at 6900 S. Quince St., Centennial, CO 80112.

As always, your good wishes and positive vibes to sustain me in my training and your praise as I cross the finish line will also be graciously accepted! Bless you. xoxox Kathy
