Crossed the finish line in Napa '09... A second time in Vegas '09... DOING IT AGAIN IN NAPA 2010!!!!

I am fundraising and training for my third half marathon with Team Challenge - this time alongside my cousin, Alana! We're running in honor of our parents - three of whom are affected by Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis!

Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis - painful, medically incurable diseases that attack the digestive system - affect over 1.4 MILLION people in the United States...more than 30,000 on Long Island, alone.

I was diagnosed with UC in 2004. Many people in both our families suffer the effects of inflammatory bowel disease - parents, aunts, uncles, children. We know the pain that accompanies living with IBD every day, and are dedicated to raising at least $10,000 for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America this season.

CCFA is the primary source of funding for research in America for IBD. Money raised goes directly towards research, support groups, and other services for people effected by these diseases.
