| Thank you for making the committment to helping me support this important cause! Together we can make a difference!
For those of you who know me well, you know that being able to run 13.1 miles will be my personal challenge of a lifetime! But I believe in this cause and that will motivate me. I am not only running this race for myself, but I also want to honor several other important people in my life who suffer from Crohn's. My brother, Asaf Batelman was diagnosed with Crohn's when he was 12 years old! One of my best friends, Beth Mannarino was diagnosed in her late 20s! They have each had their share of difficult times, but they are both leading active, healthy and happy lives- despite having Crohn's! I am also running on behalf of Jacob Regan, my local honored teamate. Jacob is twelve years old and has been suffering from Colitis since he was five. He has overcome many obstacles in his young life! I am running to honor them, as well as the millions of others who suffer from Crohn's and Colitis!! I am running in hopes that a cure will be found and others will not have to go through the difficulties we have had to face!
I have a coach, a training program and teammates to support me! I have committed to a training schedule and I've promised to raise $4000 in donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. I AM MOTIVATED AND I AM COMMITTED!
