| Thanks for visiting my page! As many of you know, I have been living with Ulcerative Colitis for over 10 years know, and finally decided to do what I can to help find a cure for this disease. I have decided to run (RUN!!) in the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon on July 20th, and raise money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. This is a very important cause to me because I know first hand how awful the side effects of many of the current treratments are, and want to help the CCFA do research to find new and better ones. Maybe even a cure.
I have been training now for over a month (running up to 6 miles now) and it has been the best experience! I am getting in shape, and meeting great people- all of whom either have Crohn's or UC, or have been affected somehow by it. It's showing me that I am truly not alone in this.
All I need your help for is the fundraising! Anything you can donate is appreciated. Every little bit helps! Tell your friends, and check back for updates on my training!
