5th Annual Yerman Friends of Children 5K Run & Walk
mooving for kids

We would like to announce that this year's run & walk will be held Oct. 23, 2010. We hope to surpass our fundraising goal of $50,000 all while we honor the memory of Eric Yerman in a way that embraces all that he stood for.

Eric's love of God, family and community was evident in every worthy goal he pursued. It is only fitting to choose a charity which embraces those same values that were reflected so strongly in Eric's life.

Friends of Children is a not-for-profit organization actively working to build a group foster care campus in North Central Florida. This campus would provide a stable environment for abused, adandoned and neglected children right here in our own community.

The finalizing of this year's sponsors is still in process:
Current Sponsors include:
Elites: Chick-fil-A Gainesville
Champions: The Trophy Shop, Best Western Gateway Grand, and DX Web
Frontrunners: Campus USA Credit Union, Tioga Dental Associates, Parent Dental Group, James Moore & Co., Casseaux Hewett & Walpole, Inc., R & R Construction, and 924 cafe.
Pacesetters: First Baptist Church, Gainesville, Northwest Mini Storage & Warehouse, Trippensee Opticians, Law Offices of Tracey Carlisle, Community Title LLC, Westside Baptist Church, and Priscilla Baptist Church.
Finishers: Benton Pediatrics, Gentle Dental Care, Ridaught Daylily Farm, Therese Truelove, P.A. Attorney at Law, Trade PMR, Ginnie Springs Outdoors LLC, Hertz & Kearns Attorneys at Law, and Child Evangelism Fellowship of North Central Florida
