| Scott Coffee founded and chaired the Moorestown Rotary Run since 1984. What was originally a small fundraiser with participation of around 125 runners has become a major fundraiser for the Rotary with a class field of over 850 runners. When Scott suddenly passed away only a month after the 2006 race, it not only left a huge void in our lives, but an active, dedicated and generous volunteer to our community was tragically silenced. In his honor, Moorestown Rotary has changed the name of the race and founded the Scott Coffee Education Endowment (make checks payable to Moorestown Rotary Charities) which will provide scholarships for deserving high school students. |
