Who was Mitch?
Mitch Chepokas was a pretty regular kid. He loved to swim, bike and run, and always seemed to be up to something with his buddies. Then one day he was diagnosed with cancer and all that changed. But it was when Mitch was at his very sickest that his incredible spirit shined brightest. That's when he reached out with generosity and kindness to other cancer kids, giving them his life savings and all the encouragement he had left to give.

For his final wish, Mitch made his dad promise with a "pinky swear" that his family would continue helping cancer kids, That's what the Miracles of Mitch Foundation was formed to do, Today, it fulfills that pinky-swear promise to Mitch by being one of the few charities that provides direct support to families in need who are treating a child with cancer.

The non-profit foundation has two major giving goals:

1. To provide cost of living financial assistance to the families of children diagnosed with cancer, and
2. in those cases of a child facing an advanced stage of cancer illness, to facilitate an individually tailored quality of life initiative for that child and their family.

The MiracleKids Triathlon is the most important fund-raising event of the whole year for the Miracles of Mitch Foundation. Here's how you can help:

2) Donate Online - select the family of your favorite athlete from the drop-down list to pledge for that family.

3) Donate by Mail - check payable to Miracles of Mitch Foundation can be sent to the family you are sponsoring.
