| We are Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County. We build houses, relationships, neighborhoods and communities. Our organization builds new homes for qualifying low-income families of McHenry County. We also offer a repair program, “A Brush with Kindness”, which is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity, area homeowners and volunteers, which enables us to perform repairs for low-income families struggling to maintain and stay in their existing homes.
100% of the dollars raised from this event will support Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County to continue building and repairing homes for the low-income of McHenry County. Because of the work we do today, somewhere in our county is a family that will sleep in a safe, decent affordable home. Because of the work we do today, a family at risk of losing everything due to lack of funds to make repairs, will be able to stay in their existing homes.
