| We are Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County, (HFHMC),We build simple, safe, and affordable houses, and perform critical house repairs, for low-income families in need in McHenry County. Since 1995, we have built 18 houses and, since late 2009, we have performed critical repairs on 16 houses: 2 in Crystal Lake, 7 in McHenry, 10 in Harvard, 3 in Marengo, 7 in Woodstock, 1 in Lakemoor, 2 in Wonder Lake, 1 in Spring Grove, and 1 in Island Lake, enabling 34 families (54 adults and 55 children) to have a safe, decent place to live. Any monies raised will help us towards this mission. |
