| Thank you for your support in this life long goal of running 26 miles continuously! While I have been in seminary I have had some opportunities to do some volunteer work. One particular form of outreach that I have been a part of I feel is particularly effective for the Austin community. I am raising money for Manos de Cristo a non-profit affiliated with the Presbyterian church. They reach out to the Austin community by providing dental care, a food pantry, back to school supplies and clothes for kids, as well as ESL and computer classes to improve the quality of life for those on the margins of society. |
