| Camp Manatoc Boy Scout Camp - Cycling Merit Badge Program |

| Join in and help support the Boy Scouts at Camp Manatoc by raising money to help them maintain a first class outdoor atmosphere for today’s youth! The funds will be used toward purchasing bikes, maintenance of the bikes and purchasing of tools for the campers to learn basic bicycle maintenance. The main focus of the program is to help the Boy Scouts earn their cycling merit badge while working with cycling safety and promoting the sport of cycling and healthy life style. 2007 was a pilot year for the cycling program and it was very successful and well attended. For 2008 a new skills area was developed to help the campers with basic off road cycling techniques and a new 1 mile trail was built around the cycling class room so the scouts can apply the techniques learned in the skills area. |
