Donate Now to End Motor Neuron Disease

The Magnificent Mile Races are the inspiration of Sarah Witt who has PLS, a motor neuron disease related to ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease; and Scott Corsmeier and Amy Corsmeier, siblings who have HSP, a hereditary motor neuron disease. Sarah was an avid runner and marathoner until her illness in 2004. Scott and Amy were diagnosed when they were young children.

All online donations and proceeds from the race will contribute to research grants awarded by the SP Foundation. The SP Foundation is a nonprofit organization--its primary mission is to find a cure for motor neuron disease and to raise awareness of its devastating effect on those who suffer from it. Some 92% of its funds go to this mission.

Please help us find a cure!
